VaCo Series Laboratory Freeze Dryer
The VaCo series is the entry-level freeze dryer and lyophilizer. A modular system makes the laboratory freeze dryer perfectly suitable for a wide range of tasks in your laboratory. The housing is made of robust stainless steel. Different modules can be used with the basic unit, depending on the application. The units are optionally available with a -50 °C condenser or -80 °C condenser and are built according to new EU F-Gases Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014. Environmentally friendly natural refrigerants are used.

The following options are available:
- Acrylic glass chamber: The acrylic glass chamber is available in different dimensions, depending on the unit size. The base plate represents the connecting piece to the ice condenser. The chamber lid is also available with vacuum connections (NS 29/32) on request.
- Stainless steel chamber: When using organic solvents or substances that attack the acrylic glass, it is recommended to use a stainless steel chamber.
- Aluminum insert rack: The aluminum insert rack is available in 2 packages. With heated or unheated shelves. The heated shelves speed up the process.
- Drying trays: Stainless steel drying trays are available to match the shelves.
- Drying rake – made of stainless steel, incl. 3-way valve (NS 29/32): The drying rake is ideal if drying is to take place exclusively in glass flasks or ampoules. In addition, an ampoule adapter is available to extend the vacuum valve, for 16 ampoules.
- Sealing device: When producing lyophilizates in vials, it is often a requirement to seal them in vacuum after drying. This option is possible from the VaCo 5.
- Vacuum control: With the vacuum control it is possible to set different vacuum values. For certain products it can be a requirement to run a defined vacuum.
- Vacuum pump – as oil-sealed rotary vane pump or chemistry hybrid vacuum pump
